Accessibility statement

Level of accessibility

The site was built following WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which is the basis for the Israeli standard IS 5568. Accessibility is built into the site itself rather than added as an external layer.

What has been done

• Full keyboard navigation, with a clear indicator on the focused element
• A skip link straight to the main content at the start of every page
• A correct, hierarchical heading structure for screen readers
• Alternative text on every image, with decorative elements hidden from screen readers
• Contrast ratios checked against the 4.5 to 1 requirement for body text
• Touch targets of at least 44 pixels on every link and button
• Content that loads and reads even with JavaScript disabled
• Respect for the operating system reduced motion setting
• An accessibility menu with larger text, high contrast, link highlighting and animation pausing

The accessibility menu

The button in the bottom left corner opens a set of adjustments. Your preference is stored in your own browser only, it is created only once you have chosen something, and it is never used for tracking. Everything can be cleared with a single click.

Cookies and tracking

This site stores no cookies and collects no personal information. It has no forms. Getting in touch is entirely at your initiative, through WhatsApp, phone or email.

What is not accessible yet

The animated network at the top of the page is decorative and carries no information. It is hidden from screen readers, and it stops when you choose to pause animations or when your operating system is set to reduced motion. If you run into anything else that is not accessible, that is exactly what I want to hear about.
